almost have unlocked everything? what are you guys doing after you've gotten everything unlocked?
I tried to go back and play some MW2, but the million little kids screaming "ur a n00b!1" turned me off real quick, guess that's a positive to the BC2 squad system. I only have to listen to the people in my squad who are usually Partisans.

I've got all the weapons and gadgets and specs unlocked.
I have not however managed to knife four people in one round or get the road kill pins or blow up four m-coms in one round, or get the naval kills both for the naval warfare pin and my last vehicle bronze star, so I'll be pursuing those likely to the consternation of my teammates.
I don't see how I'm ever going to get the naval pin that grenade launcher on the boats is useless.
I want to get the bronze star on my latest medic lmg unlock and the last two kills on the M93 burst so I'll have bronze stars for all but what I consider the crappy shotguns (I can't hit anything with the Saiga) and the thompson/garand goof.
I also need to get my k/d ration moving back in the right direction. While I've been trying to finish the last of the medic unlocks I've taken a bit bigger beating than usual. Just need to take a step back probably.
I think maybe I'll get in some more GOWIII and get on some chores I've been letting slide for a couple of nights here. But I want my platinum heavy vehicle star.

I'm finally getting bored of playing the same few maps, so I'm playing limited hours compared to what I used to.
As for the "new" maps. Arica Conquest... they might as well made a Team Deathmatch game mode and it would have been a lot easier for them. Capturing the most flags seems to have very little effect and demonstrates how broken their conquest mode actually is. I've been in games where it seems like we have had a majority of the flags, but we still end up losing... very aggravating.
Laguna Presa rush is good, but it's not extremely impressive. Very disappointed in DICE/EA's claim to cure "Mapathy" and I'm not sure why they never started with lots of maps to begin with.
Once I got all my unlocks and a majority of the pins it doesn't seem to have much that makes me want to play a lot anymore... like after spending 90hrs or whatever those few maps get really boring.

I decided to beat the Campaign last night, it was alright. Seemed like the plot was almost the same as MW2, but with the great attitudes of "Bad Company." I need to beat FFXIII, not even close to the end I don't think. Then I may go rent GOW3

After my "Assassin's Creed" break, I came back and am having more fun. It's good if you play this type of game in moderation. I am getting tired of the maps though. I hope they bring golf carts back, I never got to use them in BC1 online ;D (Left Xbox LIVE before the pack came)

Once I get home from work, I usually get two or three squad invites as soon as I boot up the PS3 (love the PLI!) - - - after the second or third in-game freeze, or after all my squad buddies bail on me, then I'll boot up Oblivion for an hour or so.
Hoping to get done with Oblivion kind of soon. Got Uncharted 1, Valkyere Chronicles, Assassin's Creed 2, Bad Company 1 all sealed and waiting for me to have some free time.

I'm holding of on the firmware update on principal for the moment but also so I'll only be able to play single player games.
Been playing GOWIII. It is pretty much 'another God of War game' but it seems like it has a whole lot more, "Wow that was really cool" moments.

What did that update do? I haven't noticed anything different. Anytime I updated my psp I noticed additional features and stuff. Someone said they were removing the OS, I can't remember who. Would removing it help prevent pirating or something?

They removed some feature called Linux, not sure what it did, but Sony says it's helps prevent pirating. Go figure

Ah ok, linux is an OS like windows, I just read that there was an option to install other OS, that is what they removed. Thank you for the info

Yes they have reduced the functionality of the system. The new slim systems do not have the option to install Linux but systems that do are faced with the option of having it removed or essentially having the system become obsolete.
This is pretty much wrong under all consumer laws and was done contrary to a prior promise not to cease support of Linux. It was also done with essentially no notice. I find the whole situation pretty disconcerting.
